Spaghetti bolognese for babies

So Im finally sitting down to write down a new resipe for baby food. Since I went back to work after my maternity leave the days just doesnt have enough hrs in a day. Any one else experiencing the same thing?

I have one picky four year old so Im determent to make baby brother a food lover. So far so good! He already weighs more at 8 months than my firstborn did when he was 1!!!! Makes u want to cuddle him:) So over to the recipe. I tried to take photos as I was going but Im no photographer so pls dont judge. I think the photos will give u an idea at least of what the recipe is cooking this delicious batch.

So what I used was: One punnet of mince (the best I could get my hands on), One can of choppet tomatoes and 2 tbs tomato puree. 2 carrots and a handful of spaghetti. What u cant see in this photo is that I decided to add some steamed brokkoli at the end. I just steamed it with the carrots  for the last 10 min.



 




A healthy sprinkle of oregano

A generous helping fresh basil from the garden. I put everything through the blender until I was happy with the consistency of it all. I added about 2 tbs of extra virging olive oil as well.

The whole batch gave me 9 servings of home made spaghetti bolognese. Suitable for 8 months + Quite generous portions so it could probably have been 10. But its alright. Baby brother likes it and so do I. It is TASTY!!! And so flavourful compared to the shop bought versions.
